More Candy!!!

Well, since my sister keeps everyone updated, I'll try to do the same....tonight we did more Christmas candy.....the girls like it....they did peanut butter Ritz crackers dipped in chocolate, while I dipped Millionairs in chocolate...they did pretty good...

Christmas Baking

Well, we decided to try to carry on a family tradition, that my mom started w/ Sara and I when we were growing up, so I decided this was the year we would try to carry on the tradition...well, to say the least...it was not a Holy or Silent night that night...the girls felt that they both should do everything.....but we got through it and the food was pretty good....

Church Activities

Things at church are busy also...both girls have been busy doing their singing thing for Chirstmas...Kaylee did a great job singing w/ her class..



And then she did a great job of being a "wise woman" in the White Christmas event..

So, as you can see, we are a busy little family...but it's all fun, some how...

Well, like always, we have been the busy little family....we have gone to Boone, NC to cut down our Christmas tree...this has become a family tradition for the weekend after Thanksgiving...Boone is a short drive up and we just spend the night and get our tree and come

on back..

Birthdays and Thanksgiving time

Hey there all, just wanted to do a quick update for ya'll....time does fly though and with our house as busy as it is....

Well, as it turns out, I have had yet another birthday, but not any ordinary birthday, it was my 40th birthday!!! And yes, I am sooo glad to get here....I did a pig pickin for me w/ some good home cooked food and some great friends!!!

WOW!!

Well, it's been quite a while since I've been on here last...but thanks to the technology of FACEBOOK, we are keeping up mostly over there. But, since my mom and dad are gone for a while, I'll keep this up due to the pictures and stuff....

We had a great summer..mom and dad now have some land about 10 min up the road and it was great having them here this summer...although we didn't get to visit as much as we wanted to, they still had a good time w/ the grandkids. Well, as I upload more pics, I'll post alot over here also...More later,

Well, it's been a while, and to say the least, things are busy this time of year for us...We have two daughters in soccer, dance and one in school...at least the days are longer so it seems like we have more time to get the stuff done. Here are some pics of the latest going ons...

Soccer time again

Well, it's spring down here and the Upward Soccer season has begun, and yes, that means the rain has come as well...What is soccer w/o rain? But that is fine also...because it makes things that much more interesting. Anyway, we had a great first game this past Saturday and here are some pics of Kaylee. This is her first season, so it was an interesting game. She was doing fine until she got to some water on the field..and she is accustomed to staying clean. She kinda got wigged out and took herself out of the game...but she went back in when I told her that it was alright to get dirty out there. So, here are some pics of her

Well, it's been a little over a month since our last post. THis is due to the fact that nothing out of the ordinary has gone on around here....The first of the year, after Kaylee's bday is a slow time. But here recently, things have picked up...Kenzie twisted her ankle on the trampoline, so she is wearing and air cast and it seems to be doing alright. The other night, she spiked a temp of about 102 for a while, so she stayed home w/ me today. And today, I spent most of it getting ready for a fundraiser dinner of spare ribs, boiled taters, and slaw for a co-worker of Angie's who just passed away from cancer. They have already pre-sold about 150 tickets, and we don't even know what kind of walk up traffic will happen....So, put us in your prayers about this adventure. As for Kaylee, she is still the same old spoiled little one who is just a joy to be around. Well, gotta run, more later, Kevin

Kaylee's 4th Birthday

Well, sorry this is a little late, but better late than never. Kaylee turned 4 yrs old this past Sunday....She has grown up so fast!!!!!! We had smoked brisket, baked beans, corn on the cob and of course, cake and ice cream.

Baby it's COLD OUTSIDE!!!

Man, for North Carolina, it sure is cold. We have been below freezing since yesterday, Jan 15, and it only got up to about 27 F today!!!! It's supposed to get down to about 9 or so tonight!!!! That's cold for the triangle....Just glad that I didn't have to work outside today....

New Years Eve Pics

Well, I know it's a little late, but here are some cool pics of our New Years Eve party. Warren, Malisha and their two daughters Whitney and Avery along w/ our neighbors Greg, Michele and two of their three kids, Mathew and Macey came over for steaks, 'taters and salad along w/a good time. The girls, Kenzie and Whitney loved the Disney Sing it on the Wii along w/ other games, we we just did some snacks and stuff untill it was time for the steaks. All in all, it was a good evening with some great friends. So, as usual, I was snapping pics w/ my new lense and flash for our camera...Still getting used to them.
